The Anglican Mission
of Lake Erie
The Anglican Mission of Lake Erie is a mission church of the Anglican Free Communion International, serving under the jurisdiction of the Anglican Vicariate of Saint George. Located in Middlefield, Ohio, we are a Christ-centered community rooted in the Gospel and formed by the teachings of Holy Scripture. We gather in the rich and reverent tradition of Anglican worship, seeking to grow in faith, serve our neighbors with compassion, and bear witness to the love of God in our local community and beyond.

Chaplains
The vocation of the chaplain is a sacred calling to be a living sign of God’s presence in places often marked by suffering, service, or searching. Unlike traditional parish ministry, chaplaincy unfolds in hospitals, military bases, prisons, schools, disaster zones, and other institutions where people confront the fragility of life and the complexity of human experience.
The chaplain walks alongside individuals in their most vulnerable moments—offering comfort, listening without judgment, praying with the weary, and upholding the dignity of every soul they encounter. Grounded in their own faith tradition and trained in spiritual care, chaplains serve not only as ministers of word and sacrament but as witnesses to hope, healing, and the enduring presence of grace in the midst of crisis and uncertainty.
